Tunisia invests nearly 1.8 million dinars to modernize La Rabta hospital's immunology service

Tunisia's Ministry of Health has completed a significant renovation and modernization of the immunology service at La Rabta University Hospital in Tunis. The initiative aims to enhance the quality of diagnostics and improve patient care conditions within the department.

The project encompassed both the rehabilitation of the service's infrastructure and the renewal of its medical and laboratory equipment. Approximately 800,000 dinars were allocated for infrastructure improvements and enhancing working conditions, while nearly one million dinars were invested in acquiring state-of-the-art medical and laboratory devices. The total investment for this upgrade reached close to 1.8 million dinars.

Key to the modernization is the introduction of advanced technologies, including the Luminex-LABScan 3D system, designed for precise and specialized immunological analyses. With this upgraded equipment, the service intends to bolster its diagnostic capabilities and solidify its role as a reference center for immunology. These enhancements are expected to lead to more accurate analyses and improved overall patient services.
