Tunisia ranks among top global sources for French 'Talent' visas

Tunisia has emerged as a top global source for talent sought by France, securing the second-highest number of long-stay "Talent" visas in 2025. A total of 2,441 such visas were issued to Tunisian nationals, positioning the country prominently in France's skilled immigration landscape.

This significant figure places Tunisia just behind India, which received the most "Talent" visas, and ahead of China. The "Talent" visa program is designed to attract highly skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, and artists to France, fostering innovation and economic growth.

However, Tunisia's leading position in the "Talent" visa category stands in notable contrast to its overall standing in French visa issuances. The country ranks only eighth in the general classification of all visas granted by France. This disparity suggests a focused attraction of specific skilled individuals rather than a broad increase in overall migration to France from Tunisia.
