Tunisia’s Family Ministry urges parents to check schools’ compliance

As the 2026-2027 school year approaches, Tunisia’s Ministry of Family, Women, Children and the Elderly is urging parents to check the legal status of private childcare facilities before enrolling their children.

The ministry called on families to choose only nurseries, kindergartens and school day-care centers that fully comply with the law. It said the guidance is intended to help parents make the necessary checks before the start of the school year.
