Tunisia, under President Kaïs Saïed, has elevated the Palestinian cause to a paramount priority in its foreign policy. The nation's unwavering stance was evident at an August 5, 2026, meeting in Amman. On President Saïed's orders, Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti participated in discussions by the Arab Ministerial Committee on International Action Concerning Jerusalem. Amidst escalating actions by occupation authorities in Jerusalem, Tunisia voiced a strong demand for a unified Arab and Islamic response to safeguard the city's legal, historical, and spiritual status.

Tunisia firmly rejects all unilateral measures, including settlement expansion, forced displacement, demolitions, and attacks on holy sites, that aim to alter Jerusalem's reality.
