Tunisia wins four medals, including two golds, at African Triathlon Championships

Tunisia achieved significant success at the African Triathlon and Paratriathlon Championships held in Mauritius, with its athletes clinching a total of four medals. The Tunisian contingent secured two gold, one silver, and one bronze medal, highlighting their strong performance in the continental competition.

Fethi Zouinkhi led the charge by winning the gold medal in the Paratriathlon event, specifically in the PTWC category, earning him the title of African Champion. Adding to the gold medal haul, Youssef Slama triumphed in the Junior Triathlon category, also being crowned African Champion.

The U23 category saw further success for Tunisia, with Zakaria Chtioui securing a silver medal. Aziz Hamdi completed the medal count by earning a bronze medal in the U23 Triathlon event. These victories underscore Tunisia's growing presence and competitive edge in African triathlon disciplines.
