Turkey Finalizes Preparations for LGS Exam, Distributes Nutrition Packages to Students

All preparations have been finalized at exam centers across Turkey for the upcoming central high school entrance exam (LGS), a crucial step for students seeking admission to selective high schools. Over one million students are registered to take the exam, which aims to ensure a fair and secure testing environment.

At the Ankara Hacı Ömer Tarman Anadolu Lisesi, one of the designated exam venues, necessary arrangements have been made to facilitate a comfortable and safe experience for the students. Exam halls and common areas have been cleaned, and special nutrition packages have been placed on desks for each student. These packages contain water, an oat bar, walnuts, and dried fruit, intended to provide sustenance during the exam.

Officials have conducted final checks to prevent any disruptions on the day of the exam. According to the Ministry of National Education, 1,022,658 students applied for this year's LGS. The exam will consist of two sessions, starting at 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM, with students answering a total of 90 questions across verbal and numerical sections.

To further enhance exam security, artificial intelligence-supported camera systems will be deployed in the examination buildings. The results of the LGS are scheduled to be released on July 10.
