Turkey's 'Framework Law' published in Official Gazette; Erdoğan thanks Parliament

Turkey's "Framework Law," officially titled the Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration, has been officially published in the Official Gazette, marking its enactment. The legislation, which garnered broad support in Parliament, aims to foster national unity and social cohesion.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed his gratitude following the publication. In a message shared on social media, he extended thanks to the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) for their role as a partner in the People's Alliance, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş, and members of the AK Party group. Erdoğan also acknowledged the constructive approach of other political parties and their representatives.

"I wish this law, accepted with the support of 467 of our deputies as an example of historical consensus in our Grand National Assembly and coming into force today, to be beneficial," Erdoğan stated. He emphasized that the process was conducted with the sensitivities of the nation in mind, particularly those of martyrs' relatives and veterans.

The president affirmed that the government will continue to manage the process with the same sincerity and diligence within the framework established by the law, under the leadership of relevant institutions and bodies. The law is presented as a significant step towards a peaceful, prosperous, and secure future for Turkey.
