Turkish University Graduates Become 'Voluntary Ambassadors' Abroad

International students graduating from Turkish universities are becoming crucial "voluntary ambassadors" for the country, fostering ongoing connections and promoting Turkish interests abroad. Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the İlim Yayma Vakfı (Foundation for Spreading Knowledge), emphasized this role during a recent event.

Erdoğan explained that these alumni often form "Turkey graduate associations" in their home countries. These organizations, supported and coordinated by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (TYB), help maintain ties. Many graduates work for Turkish companies or continue business collaborations with Turkey, acting as bridges between their nations and the Turkish economy.

He highlighted their significance in achieving Turkey's ambitious export goals, such as reaching $500 billion. He believes Turkey needs to partner with Africa to remain a strong global player, adding that Turkey also has much to contribute to Europe.
