Turkish Women's Volleyball Team Announces Nations League Squad

The Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team has revealed its squad for the third week of the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Nations League. After two stages, the "Filenin Sultanları" (Sultans of the Net) hold a sixth-place position with a record of six wins and two losses.

The team is set to compete in Japan from July 8-12. The Turkish Volleyball Federation announced the roster for the Osaka leg of the tournament. The squad features setters Cansu Özbay, Dilay Özdemir, and Elif Şahin. In the opposite hitter position, Defne Başyolcu and Melissa Vargas have been included. The spiker rotation includes Hande Baladın, İlkin Aydın, Saliha Şahin, and Yaprak Erkek. For the middle blocker positions, Berka Buse Özden, Deniz Uyanık, Sinead Jack Kısal, and Zehra Güneş are listed. The libero positions will be covered by Eylül Akarçeşme Yatgın and Gizem Örge.

The "Sultans of the Net" will face Poland first on July 8 in their VNL Week 3 matches. Their schedule continues with games against the USA on July 10, Japan on July 11, and Thailand on July 12. The match schedule is as follows: Turkey vs. Poland at 06:00 on July 8; USA vs. Turkey at 07:00 on July 10; Japan vs. Turkey at 13:20 on July 11; and Thailand vs. Turkey at 09:30 on July 12.
