Turkish Women's Volleyball Team Completes European Championship Preparations in Antalya

The Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team, known as the 'Filenin Sultanları,' has wrapped up their training camp in Antalya as they prepare for the 2026 CEV European Championship. The team honed their skills at the Gloria Sports Arena in Belek, a facility that has previously hosted them before major tournaments.

The camp utilized the arena's extensive facilities, spanning over 105,000 square meters and catering to more than 50 sports disciplines. The international standard infrastructure and high-performance amenities provided an ideal environment for the national team's preparation. During their time in Antalya, the team also engaged in practice matches against France, further refining their strategies.

Having completed this phase of their preparations, the team now moves on to the next stage. The 2026 CEV Women's European Volleyball Championship is scheduled to take place from August 21 to September 6, with co-hosting duties shared by Turkey, Czechia, Azerbaijan, and Sweden. As the defending champions, Turkey aims to retain their title. They are set to compete in Group A, facing opponents including Latvia, Slovenia, Hungary, Germany, and Poland. The group stage matches for Turkey are scheduled to begin on August 21, 2026, against Latvia.
