TV Legend Thomas Gottschalk Declared Cancer-Free

German television legend Thomas Gottschalk is reportedly cancer-free, according to his doctors, as reported by the Bild newspaper. The 76-year-old entertainer shared the positive news, stating that his latest medical examinations indicated no remaining cancer cells in his body.

Gottschalk, who celebrated his 76th birthday on May 18, publicly disclosed his battle with cancer in late November of the previous year. The announcement followed concerns raised after his appearances at the Romy Gala in Kitzbühel and the Bambi Awards in Munich, where he seemed unwell, causing public speculation.

His wife, Karina, was a constant presence throughout his treatment, accompanying him to every doctor's appointment and radiation session. She stated in the Bild interview, "I never left him alone, not for a second."

Gottschalk is now actively engaged in his recovery process. He is undergoing strength training with a personal trainer two to three times a week. Additionally, he and his wife enjoy walks and swimming in their pool. He is also practicing daily coordination exercises, such as brushing his teeth with his left hand, to aid his brain function and balance, following the guidance of his doctors and trainer.
