TWICE's Jeongyeon leaves JYP for agency with sister, vows to protect group activities

K-pop star Jeongyeon is embarking on a new chapter after leaving JYP Entertainment, the agency she was with for 11 years. She has signed an exclusive contract with Before Entertainment, the same agency as her older sister, Gong Seung-yeon.

Jeongyeon shared her feelings in a handwritten letter, admitting to some fear about leaving a familiar environment. However, she found courage in the support of her TWICE bandmates and their fandom, ONCE. She emphasized that her commitment to TWICE remains her top priority.
