Two arrested for theft of refrigeration units from commercial shops in North Al Batinah

The North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command in Oman has apprehended two individuals in connection with a series of thefts targeting refrigeration units at commercial establishments. The alleged crimes took place in the wilayats of Al Khabourah and Saham.

According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the suspects are accused of stealing refrigeration and cooling units from multiple shops. These actions have resulted in significant financial losses for business owners and have disrupted normal commercial operations in the affected areas.

Authorities launched an investigation after receiving reports of the thefts. Through evidence gathered during the probe, the police were able to identify and subsequently arrest the two suspects. The ROP stated that legal procedures are being finalized against the accused. These steps are in preparation for their referral to the relevant judicial authorities for further action.
