Two arrested, one under house arrest after Antalya car dealership shooting

Authorities in Antalya have apprehended two individuals and placed a third under house arrest following an armed assault on a car dealership. The incident took place on June 7 in the Kepez district, where an assailant, described as wearing a hat and having their face covered, fired shots at the business from beneath an overpass.

Employees of the dealership heard the gunshots and emerged to find their building had been hit by bullets. Emergency services were alerted, and police responded to the scene. During their initial investigation, officers discovered three bullet casings at the location. The escape of the suspect was captured on security cameras, prompting an immediate investigation.

Following the attack, police launched a comprehensive search, leading to the detention of 13 suspects. After processing at the police station, 10 of these individuals were released. However, two suspects, identified as U.C.Y. and M.P., were formally arrested and remanded in custody, while another, Y.E.A., was placed under house arrest pending further proceedings.
