Two injured in truck collision on Honam Expressway near Gimje

A trailer crashed into a 6.5-ton truck on the southbound Honam Expressway in Gimje, North Jeolla province, injuring two people.

The collision occurred at 1:39 p.m. on the 150-kilometer point of the expressway in Bongnam-myeon. The trailer driver, identified only as a man in his 60s, was among those injured. Both people were taken to a hospital.

Beverages loaded onto the vehicles spilled across the road. Police partially restricted traffic while handling the crash and investigating its exact circumstances.
