Two inmates wanted by police after escaping from North Jutland prison

Two inmates have escaped from Kragskovhede Prison, an open facility located in a natural area between Frederikshavn and Skagen in northern Denmark. The North Jutland Police have issued an appeal to the public for any information that could lead to their capture.

The police are seeking a 24-year-old man described as dark-skinned, of average build, 180 cm tall, with medium-length black hair and a beard. The second escapee is 19 years old, also dark-skinned, of slender build, with medium-length black hair. Both individuals have been convicted of violent crimes.

The 24-year-old is serving a sentence of three years and nine months, while the 19-year-old has a two-year sentence. Kragskovhede Prison has both an open section with 161 places and a closed section with 50 places. The Danish Prison and Probation Service confirmed that both men were held in the open section of the facility. As of now, the North Jutland Police have not received any tips regarding their whereabouts.
