Two killed, three injured in collision on Oman's Sultan Said bin Taimur Road

A serious road traffic collision on Sultan Said bin Taimur Road in Oman resulted in the deaths of two people and injuries to three others. The Royal Oman Police (ROP) confirmed the incident involved two vehicles traveling towards the Wilayat of Mirbat.

The ROP Air Wing was deployed to medically evacuate one of the injured individuals, who was of Asian nationality, to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah for urgent treatment. Emergency response teams were present at the scene, providing immediate medical assistance before the injured were transferred for further care.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims or the specific cause of the crash.
