Two men stabbed in Sydney's south-west, two teens injured in Gladesville house brawl

Sydney experienced a night of violence with multiple incidents leading to injuries. Two men were hospitalized after sustaining stab wounds in separate occurrences in the city's southwest.

Emergency services were first called to a property in Austral around 12:50 am on Sunday following reports of two injured men. While no injured individuals were found at that location, police later discovered a man with stab wounds to his torso in a vehicle in Austral. Shortly after, another man was found in a second vehicle in Middleton Grange, suffering stab wounds to his thigh. Both men, believed to be in their 20s, were taken to hospital in a stable condition.

In a separate incident in Sydney's northwest, a large brawl at a Gladesville home resulted in injuries to two teenage boys. Police responded to the scene after reports of an assault involving a large group of teenagers. A 17-year-old boy was reportedly struck with a glass bottle, and a 16-year-old boy was assaulted by a group who then fled the scene. Both teenagers were treated for head and facial injuries before being transported to the hospital.

Multiple crime scenes have been established as police launch investigations into both the stabbings and the Gladesville brawl. The incidents highlight a night of significant violence across different parts of Sydney.
