Two-Year-Old Girl Resuscitated After Drowning Accident in German Pool

A two-year-old girl is recovering after a near-fatal drowning incident at an outdoor pool in Kirchheim unter Teck, Germany. The child was resuscitated by bystanders and medical personnel after accidentally entering a 45-centimeter-deep wading pool on Sunday evening.

According to police reports, the girl had wandered away from her family's spot unnoticed. A relative realized the child was missing and discovered her in the water. The relative immediately pulled the girl out and called for help. Two men nearby quickly initiated CPR, and their efforts were joined by pool staff and a doctor who happened to be present.

Thanks to the swift actions of those on site, the girl regained consciousness. She was subsequently transported to the hospital and was expected to be released on Monday. Psychosocial support was provided to her family following the traumatic event.
