Two Years After Announcing Her Divorce, Indira Levak Reveals Her Relationship With Her Ex-Husband

For Indira Levak, divorce did not end the partnership she built with Miroslav Levak over 11 years of marriage. The Croatian singer says they remain friends, supporters and business partners.

Levak announced their divorce in July 2024, saying they would continue their lives independently while maintaining a respectful relationship. She says that promise still holds. “Mirek is also my best friend. He is still my rock and my greatest support, just as I am for him. So, you know, when you have an emergency call, he is number one,” she told IN Magazin.

She often describes the pair as a winning team whose professional chemistry has developed over the years. It is a partnership she does not want to replace.

Levak also spoke about life on her own. “Solitude is a difficult thing, it is a dangerous thing. If you get used to solitude, problems can arise. It is very beautiful. We distinguish solitude from loneliness. I am not lonely. Solitude suits me so well,” she said, describing the freedom of returning from a concert, dropping her suitcase and answering to no one about the state of the house or whether dinner was ready.

As for dating, Levak showed little enthusiasm. “Now imagine falling in love, then having a boyfriend, going out with him, finding out what he likes, what he dislikes, what he drinks and what he does not drink... I cannot do that, I cannot do that. It is wonderful to be at home, watch seven or eight series in a row and enjoy yourself,” she said.

Levak will perform at Zagreb Arena on Dec. 23 in a concert marking 30 years of her music career.
