Typhoon Bawei Disrupts Schedule: China Steel Postpones Shareholder Gift Distribution

China Steel has postponed the distribution of its shareholder meeting commemorative gifts due to the impact of Typhoon Bawei. The distribution, initially planned from July 8 to July 10, has been rescheduled. In Taipei, distribution on July 10 was suspended because the city declared a work and school holiday due to the typhoon.

While the Kaohsiung distribution proceeded as originally scheduled, China Steel extended the collection deadline for both locations to July 13 to ensure all eligible shareholders can receive their gifts. This extension applies to shareholders who voted electronically and hold fewer than 1,000 shares.

Eligible shareholders must present their meeting notice, identification, or a printed confirmation from the electronic voting platform to collect their gifts. The collection points are located at KGI Securities' offices in Taipei and Kaohsiung. China Steel reminded shareholders that the gifts are only available for in-person pickup and cannot be mailed.
