UAE, Arab, Muslim nations condemn Israel’s rejection of Gaza Peace Road Map

The United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt have jointly condemned Israel's rejection of a peace roadmap for Gaza. The foreign ministers of these nations issued a statement denouncing Israel's declared refusal to accept the roadmap, which aims to implement a comprehensive plan to end the Gaza conflict.

These Arab and Muslim-majority countries also criticized Israel's rejection of Palestinian statehood. They asserted that these positions directly repudiate the peace plan, jeopardize its implementation, and fundamentally undermine collective efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace.

The joint statement emphasized that Israel now bears responsibility for obstructing progress toward peace in Gaza and the broader Occupied Palestinian Territory. The nations highlighted that the rejected roadmap had been accepted by Palestinian factions and represented the culmination of extensive mediation efforts by Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye, and the United States.
