The United Arab Emirates is experiencing a vibrant tourism surge during its Summer 2026 season, drawing visitors with a rich tapestry of cultural, heritage, and entertainment events. This momentum is supported by advanced infrastructure and tailored seasonal programs, aiming to solidify the UAE's status as a premier global destination throughout the year.

This summer's success builds upon a remarkable 2025 performance, which saw record-breaking indicators. Hotel establishments hosted 32.34 million guests, accumulating over 110.62 million hotel nights. The sector generated Dhs49.21 billion in revenue, with a hotel occupancy rate of 79.3 percent, demonstrating its resilience and sustained growth.

Across the UAE, summer events span shopping, entertainment, culture, and heritage. Abu Dhabi is prominently featuring heritage festivals, including the 22nd Liwa Date Festival and the inaugural Al Ain Date Festival, which attracted tens of thousands of visitors. These events not only celebrate national identity through the date palm but also support local production. Cultural institutions like the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi offer exhibitions, workshops, and educational activities for families.

Yas Island continues to be a major entertainment hub, boasting attractions such as Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, and SeaWorld, alongside live performances at Etihad Arena.
