Ukraine and U.S. advance plan for drone factory in America

Ukraine and the United States are moving forward with a plan to establish a drone production line within the U.S., utilizing Ukraine's advanced drone technology. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed the initiative, emphasizing its potential for mutual benefit. He stated that Ukraine possesses significant technological expertise, while the U.S. has strong technological capabilities, making the drone agreement a win-win situation. Zelenskyy announced plans to build a large factory with multiple production lines in the U.S. This collaboration comes as Ukraine's drone technology has gained international recognition during its four-year conflict with Russia. Zelenskyy noted that Ukrainian military drones currently have an operational range exceeding 3,000 kilometers and are expected to improve further. He also mentioned that Ukraine has shared its drone innovations with allies. Sources in Washington indicated that details of the agreement are still being finalized. Zelenskyy is expected to visit Washington on August 28th for talks with U.S. President Trump. Reports suggest Ukraine has agreed to export drones to the U.S. for the Pentagon's 'Drone Dominance Program,' with six Ukrainian companies approved to export approximately 100 drones each.
