Ukraine war: Strikes kill four in Russia and Ukraine

Escalating strikes between Russia and Ukraine have resulted in civilian casualties on both sides, with recent attacks claiming four lives. In Russia's southern Krasnodar region, Ukrainian drone strikes killed two people, including an 8-year-old child, in the port city of Novorossiysk. Another drone attack in the village of Volna, near annexed Crimea, killed one person. The regional governor reported four other injuries in the Anapa and Gelendzhik areas. Russia's Defense Ministry stated it had shot down 502 Ukrainian drones overnight.

Meanwhile, Russian attacks targeted several regions in Ukraine. In Kherson, a major southern city near the front lines, two people were killed and others injured by drones. Another drone struck a bus in the southern Zaporizhzhia region, injuring one person. Ukraine's air force reported that Russia launched missiles and 138 drones overnight, with 112 being shot down or intercepted.
