UNAM Completes Entrance Exams in León and Oaxaca Without Incident; Tijuana and Mexico City Next

The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) has successfully concluded its in-person entrance examination for undergraduate admissions at its León, Guanajuato, and Oaxaca campuses without any reported incidents. This phase of the admission process saw a combined total of 2,611 hopeful students participate.

In León, 1,717 individuals took the digital exam over two days, while in Oaxaca, 894 registered students presented themselves. The examination involved a 120-question digital test administered on internet-disconnected tablets, with continuous on-site supervision to ensure a smooth process.

The university is continuing its admission testing strategy with upcoming sessions in Tijuana, Baja California, scheduled for Sunday, August 16. Following Tijuana, the examination will move to Mexico City, where it will be held daily in three shifts from August 17 to August 19.

UNAM has reminded applicants that the "Tu Sitio" portal remains open for them to schedule their appointments up to one day before their designated exam date at each respective venue. This structured approach follows a review of the university's undergraduate admission process.
