UNAM reports 13,000 applicants still need to schedule control exam; 45,000 have done so

A significant number of prospective students are yet to schedule their entrance exams for the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Around 13,320 applicants, or 22.66% of the total, have not yet booked their appointments, despite the in-person evaluations commencing soon in León, Guanajuato.

According to the latest report from UNAM's General Directorate of School Administration (DGAE), out of 58,783 registered applicants, 45,463 individuals, or 77.34%, have successfully scheduled their exams. These students are aware of their assigned venue, date, and time.

The university has released the schedule for the control exams at its satellite campuses. Exams in León, Guanajuato, will be held on August 12th and 13th. Oaxaca, Oaxaca, will host exams on August 13th. Tijuana, Baja California, is scheduled for August 16th, and Mexico City will administer exams from August 17th to 19th.

Each evaluation will consist of 120 questions, and candidates will have a maximum of three hours to complete it. UNAM advises applicants to bring a valid official identification, a printed copy of their appointment confirmation, and to arrive one hour prior to the scheduled start time for registration. The use of mobile phones during the exam is prohibited, and large bags or backpacks are not permitted.
