An Se-young began her 2026 China Masters campaign with a 21-11, 21-3 victory over Taiwan’s Lin Hsiang-ti.

The South Korean, described as the world’s strongest player, won the women’s singles round-of-32 match at Shenzhen Arena in Shenzhen on September 1, Korean time.

The match lasted 33 minutes. An advanced to the round of 16 with a scoreline that the Chosun Ilbo described as “unbelievable to watch” and overwhelming.
