UNI to Offer Over 80 Free Online Courses in AI, Programming, and Cybersecurity

The National University of Engineering (UNI) in Peru is launching its 10th Technological Initiation Program (PIT), offering more than 80 free, fully online courses. This initiative aims to equip students, graduates, and professionals with in-demand skills, particularly in artificial intelligence, programming, and cybersecurity.

The program's updated curriculum will incorporate artificial intelligence tools, reflecting the latest technological trends. The course catalog is extensive, featuring subjects like data science, cybersecurity, software development, cloud computing, project management, AI, machine learning, and digital communication. This broad offering seeks to strengthen participants' digital competencies and prepare them for the evolving job market.

Eligibility extends to university and institute students and graduates nationwide, as well as public sector workers with institutional emails. While the courses are free, participants can obtain an official UNI-endorsed certificate for a fee of S/ 50 per course. Registration remains open until August 2, 2026, with classes commencing on August 3. UNI is also providing WhatsApp support for inquiries, underscoring its commitment to expanding access to technological training across the country.
