Unified Lions player Chen Yung-chi sent to minor league due to joint inflammation

The Unified Lions have made a roster change, moving player Chen Yung-chi to the minor league due to joint inflammation. Chen had only recently returned to the major league on May 17th after recovering from a previous abdominal muscle strain.

Chen Yung-chi's return to the major league was brief, as he played only five games, recording one hit in eight at-bats. Manager Lin Yueh-ping explained that Chen is experiencing inflammation in his knee and requires at least three days of rest. To allow for a more complete recovery, the team has decided to have him play in the minor league next week.
