Uniqlo Opens Applications for 2026 Graduate Intake with Starting Salary of About 53 Million Won

Uniqlo is recruiting new graduates for its 2026 UMC program, or UNIQLO Management Candidate track, with a starting salary of about 53 million won including bonuses.

Applications will remain open from the 7th through the 28th of this month. Those who pass the selection process will learn core management duties covering stores, products, profit and loss, and human resources through Uniqlo’s in-house training program. They will then be assigned as store managers.

Depending on their individual capabilities, employees can later expand into roles including supervisors overseeing multiple stores, as well as positions at headquarters or overseas. Benefits include refresh leave and housing support for employees working outside their home region.

Uniqlo also plans a range of online and in-person recruitment events. Regional information sessions will begin in Busan and Daegu on the 10th and 11th, followed by job fairs from the 14th to the 21st at Chung-Ang University, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and Konkuk University. Final selections will join the company on March 1 next year.
