Uniqlo partners with Miral School to support students with developmental disabilities

Uniqlo has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Miral School to enhance vocational skills and social participation for students with developmental disabilities. The partnership aims to create practical in-store job training and career exploration opportunities.

The agreement, formalized at Uniqlo's Myeongdong Global Flagship Store, focuses on establishing a sustainable employment model for individuals with disabilities. This initiative provides students with hands-on experience in retail environments.

This agreement aims to provide practical in-store job training and career experience opportunities for students with developmental disabilities, and furthermore, to build a sustainable employment model for people with disabilities.

As part of the collaboration, students participated in a tailored career experience program. The event included an orientation, an introduction to the Uniqlo brand, and a store tour. Following this, students were divided into three groups to engage in practical tasks such as product organization and display, learning store operations on different floors.

Uniqlo and Miral School plan to continue their cooperation in various areas, including vocational education, career experiences, and employment support. This partnership reflects Uniqlo's commitment to social contribution and fostering an inclusive work environment.
