University of Seoul wraps up 2026 UOS Job Festival

The University of Seoul’s 2026 UOS Job Festival brought public-sector recruiters and alumni mentors from major companies together for a day of employment counseling and recruitment information.

Held at the university’s 100th Anniversary Memorial Hall, the event featured human resources officials from 10 Seoul-affiliated public enterprises and investment or research institutions. Twenty alumni working in fields including IT and platforms, manufacturing and semiconductors, and finance also took part as mentors.

The public institutions provided information about their recruitment processes and preferred qualifications. Alumni mentors offered personalized advice based on their own job-search and workplace experiences. Participating organizations included Seoul Facilities Corporation, Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation, Seoul Energy Corporation, Seoul Business Agency, Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture and Seoul Investment Promotion Foundation.

The festival also included booths operated by agencies linked to the Ministry of Employment and Labor and by the Seoul Youth Employment Academy. They explained youth employment policies and available benefits. A personal-color event booth added another attraction for participants.

University students and other young people preparing for employment could attend through advance reservations or on-site registration. The event recorded 961 visitors and 1,903 booth visits. The University of Seoul’s University Job Plus Center, which opened in March 2023, provides one-to-one career counseling, skills assessments, training programs and job matching for current students, graduates and young people in the surrounding community.
