University Orientation 2026: Choices Must Be Validated by August 3 Deadline

Tunisian high school graduates have until noon on August 3 to finalize their university orientation choices for the 2026 academic year. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the deadline for both the main and control sessions.

To aid students in this critical decision, the ministry released an orientation guide on June 23. This comprehensive resource outlines all available programs in public higher education institutions, detailing fields of study, specializations, and access requirements. The goal is to ensure each student selects a university path that aligns with their abilities and aspirations.

This year, 78,575 students successfully passed the baccalaureate exams, achieving an overall pass rate of 50.72%. The main examination session saw 154,928 candidates participate, highlighting the significant number of young people navigating their higher education options.
