Updated Kia XCeed compact crossover arrives in Croatia from €21,349

Kia’s XCeed has arrived in Croatia in a substantially redesigned version, with a starting price of €21,349. The raised compact crossover remains the last member of the Ceed family to continue production as demand shifts toward SUVs.

Kia positions the XCeed as a style-focused urban crossover for buyers who want a vehicle that fits their lifestyle. The updated exterior follows the company’s “Opposites United” design philosophy, while the cabin receives changes aimed at improving tactile quality and everyday usability.

The crossover has a more progressive silhouette, with proportions that include a front overhang shortened by 15 millimeters. It retains a 426-liter luggage compartment, while its higher seating position and compact dimensions are intended to improve agility and the driver’s view of the road.

Inside, a more advanced multi-mode touchscreen provides control of infotainment and climate functions. A redesigned gear selector improves ergonomics. Kia has also revised the rear suspension and worked on noise and vibration control to make the ride more comfortable, particularly for rear-seat passengers. Normal and Sport driving modes now offer a clearer contrast.

The entry-level powertrain is a 1.0-liter T-GDI petrol engine producing 115 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. It reaches 100 km/h in 11.7 seconds and has a top speed of 182 km/h. Buyers can choose a manual gearbox or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the 7DCT is also available with mild-hybrid technology. The 1.6-liter T-GDI comes with either 150 or 180 horsepower.
