The United States military is reportedly operating covert nighttime oil tanker convoys through the critical Strait of Hormuz, a move aimed at ensuring the steady flow of millions of barrels of oil daily. Media sources, citing individuals familiar with the operation, claim that this clandestine maritime corridor has been active for several weeks.

According to reports, between 15 and 20 tankers navigate the strait each night via a southern route along Oman's coast. This operation is said to transport approximately 10 million barrels of oil daily, a volume reportedly close to half of what was moved before the conflict with Iran began. U.S. military sources assert their control over the southern passage, stating that while Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps may pose challenges, they do not command the strait.
