US, European nations warn Iran to stop attacks on their soil

A coalition of twenty-two nations, including the United States and several European countries, issued a stern joint warning to Iran on Thursday, demanding an immediate cessation of attacks and plots carried out on their sovereign territories.

The statement specifically condemned Iran's security services, particularly the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' intelligence services and the Quds Force, for their "deplorable" use of international and local criminal gangs. These groups have allegedly been involved in "lethal plotting and malign actions" against Iranian dissidents, journalists, and Jewish and Israeli communities and interests across Europe, North America, and Australia.

The coalition also pointed to Iran's alleged involvement in a campaign of attacks across Europe targeting Jewish communities, Iranian journalists, and US journalists. These attacks were claimed by an Iran-linked group named Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya (HAYI), which reportedly claimed responsibility for incidents in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Australia's actions, including expelling Iran's ambassador and designating the Revolutionary Guards as a state sponsor of terrorism, were also highlighted as a response to alleged antisemitic attacks orchestrated by Tehran on Australian soil.
