US, Iran exchange retaliatory strikes

The United States and Iran exchanged retaliatory strikes Tuesday night, escalating tensions in the Middle East after an Iranian attack downed a US Apache helicopter near the Strait of Hormuz. U.S. strikes targeted Iranian air defense systems, ground control stations, and surveillance radar sites.
