US man duct-taped to seat after attacking passenger during flight and hurling racial abuse

An American Airlines flight traveling from Dallas to Newark made an unexpected stop in Baltimore after a passenger reportedly attacked another traveler and directed racial insults at a flight attendant.

Retired law enforcement officer Juan Mejia and the flight attendant acted to subdue the passenger. They used zip ties and duct tape to restrain him and keep the situation under control.
