US Music Guru Rick Beato Praises Sydney Teen's Debut Single

Influential US musician and producer Rick Beato, known for his popular YouTube analysis videos, has lauded the debut single "Sana" by 13-year-old Sydney performer Niko Karolia.

Beato, who boasts over 5.7 million subscribers and 2.06 billion views on his YouTube channel, analyzed Karolia's track during an interview with Hamish Macdonald on 702 ABC Sydney Mornings. He was particularly impressed by the soulful track's songwriting, describing its melody as "very strong" and possessing a natural resolution.

Karolia, who recently made her first radio appearance on the same program, shared her ambition to become a "global pop star that people can resonate with." The idea to release music first struck her at the beginning of the previous year. Her father, Imz Karolia, was initially hesitant about her music career launch.
