USA-Belgium World Cup Ticket Prices Plummet Over 30 Percent

Ticket prices for the highly anticipated World Cup round of 16 match between the USA and Belgium have experienced a notable decline, plunging by more than 30 percent before a modest recovery. The get-in price for the game, scheduled to be held in Seattle, dropped to a low of $1,423 on Saturday afternoon.

This price point represented a 32 percent decrease over the preceding three days. Despite the dip, the price rebounded slightly to $1,635 by 6 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday. This fluctuation saw the USA-Belgium game move from the fourth-highest priced match in the round of 16 to the second-highest.

The most expensive ticket among the eight round of 16 matches is for the Mexico vs. England game in Houston, with a get-in price of $3,574. The USA-Belgium game's price, while significant, is considerably lower than the nearly $4,000 peak it reached on June 1 for the final 2026 World Cup match in Seattle.

The substantial drop in ticket prices for the USA-Belgium match is somewhat surprising, given that Belgium's base camp is located just 10 miles south of Seattle Stadium. This proximity might have been expected to drive demand. Belgium has already played two matches in Seattle during the group stage, including a draw with Egypt and a victory over Senegal.
