VCB Foundation hosts health fair for students at Vere Tech

The Veronica Campbell Brown (VCB) Foundation is set to host its third annual Back-to-School Health and Wellness Fair at Vere Technical High School in Clarendon this Saturday, August 15. The event, running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., is a collaborative effort with the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MoHW) and receives support from Sagicor Foundation Jamaica, VM Group, and Adidas.

Since its launch in 2024, the fair has returned to Campbell Brown's alma mater, Vere Technical, attracting significant numbers of students, parents, and local residents. Past events provided free screenings for body mass index (BMI), cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar, vision, and hearing. Medical professionals also conducted sessions on nutrition, immunization, and oral health.
