Venezuelan engineer participates in Houston's Offshore Technology Conference

Venezuelan engineer David Julio Urdaneta Ocando, an expert in international business and strategic market development, recently participated in the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2026 in Houston, Texas. He joined the exhibition team for Tempsens Instruments, an Indian-based manufacturer of temperature measurement solutions and thermal systems.

Urdaneta Ocando's invitation stemmed from his significant experience in Latin American markets and his track record in developing business within complex industrial sectors. As CEO of Tempsens Mexico and with over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry across Latin America, he played a key role in presenting Tempsens' offerings and fostering connections with industry representatives and potential partners.

Tempsens Instruments highlighted Urdaneta Ocando's contribution to enhancing the company's visibility and strategic positioning in Latin America. His expertise facilitated more effective communication with Spanish-speaking executives and decision-makers during the conference, a crucial aspect given the region's importance in the energy sector.

This participation underscores Urdaneta Ocando's extensive career, which spans over four decades in telecommunications, industrial instrumentation, automation, business management, and international trade. He previously held leadership positions, including General Director of Endress+Hauser Mexico, and founded Mytec Automation International, a company focused on instrumentation and automation projects for various industries. His professional journey also includes expanding operations to the United States with Mytec Automation International LLC in Leander, Texas.
