Veterans lead Kiwoom Heroes to end 10-game losing streak

The Kiwoom Heroes have finally broken their slump, ending a grueling 10-game losing streak with a hard-fought 3-1 victory over the NC Dinos. The win, achieved on June 27, 2026, at NC Park in Changwon, provided a much-needed respite for the team that had tied a club record for consecutive losses.

Veteran pitcher Ha Young-min was the standout performer on the mound, delivering a stellar performance. He pitched seven innings, allowing only one earned run on one hit and three walks, while striking out seven batters. Ha's efficient pitching, requiring just 96 pitches, secured him his third win of the season against five losses.

The offense was spearheaded by veteran infielder An Chi-hong, who hit a crucial go-ahead solo home run in the seventh inning. This decisive blow broke a 1-1 tie and propelled the Heroes to victory.
