Vicky Xipolitakis Shares Her Excitement Over a Trip to Greece With Her Son

Vicky Xipolitakis and her son Salvador are traveling to Greece for a family surprise: her father, Manuel, is preparing to celebrate his 70th birthday there with his wife, unaware that the rest of the family plans to join him.

The trip followed a legal dispute with Xipolitakis’s former husband, Javier Naselli, whom she accused of gender-based violence. She needed authorization to travel abroad with their son and celebrated after receiving a favorable court ruling. She publicly thanked her lawyers and relatives who supported her through the process.

In a video posted online, Xipolitakis said the family was about to board the plane and described the plan as a surprise for her father. “The surprise for Grandpa is coming. We are very happy and excited. In a few minutes we will board the plane. Our destination is to surprise Grandpa, who is turning 70 and traveled alone with my mom. The whole family will show up on his birthday.”

She also addressed her father directly: “Dad, we love you. Thank you for everything you do for the family. You are the best dad and the best grandpa in the world. We love you.” She stressed that he had no idea the family was coming.

Xipolitakis shared photos from the airport and plane, along with moments before departure, including drinking coffee, dancing and playing with her son. She wrote that she had fought to make the trip happen because her son wanted to hug and spend his grandfather’s 70th birthday with him. She thanked Argentina’s justice system, her lawyers and her aunt Kaliopi Xipolitakis for their help.
