Vidal names his candidates for Chile's coaching job

Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal lamented the national team's absence from the World Cup for the third consecutive time, calling it "sad" to watch the tournament without La Roja. Vidal, speaking at the launch of his "Experiencia Fútbol de King" venture, stressed the importance of appointing a coach quickly to oversee a proper process and player development.

"We need to confirm a coach soon, one who can run a good process, scout players, and do things that benefit everyone and give us hope for the future," Vidal stated. He acknowledged the abundance of talent in Chile but pointed to a lack of effective management.

When asked about potential candidates for the coaching role, Vidal mentioned several names, including Marcelo Bielsa, Gerardo Martino, and Matías Almeyda. He noted that some coaches are currently with other national teams, making their appointment difficult, but expressed his admiration for their work. Vidal also mentioned his preference for coaches who can build a project and instill belief in the team.
