VIDEO: Davido storms Osun campaign rally, dances with Gov Adeleke

Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, made a notable appearance at a campaign rally in Osun State, joining his uncle and the state's Governor, Ademola Adeleke, for a roadshow ahead of the August 15 governorship election.

The rally saw Davido and Governor Adeleke's son, Sina Adeleke, also known as Shina Rambo, navigate through a large crowd to reach the campaign stage. Videos circulating on social media captured the moment, showing Davido, dressed in a traditional jalabiya, being assisted over railings by supporters.

Once on stage, Governor Adeleke was seen dancing and singing along to Davido's hit song "Feel." The artist then embraced his uncle, and the two engaged in an energetic dance, drawing enthusiastic cheers from the assembled supporters. This display of familial closeness became a focal point of the rally.

The roadshow took place amidst heightened political activities as Governor Adeleke, representing the Accord Party, campaigns for his second term. He is set to face the All Progressives Congress candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji. Davido had previously appealed for a peaceful election, urging voters to reject violence and exercise their democratic rights responsibly.
