Vietnamese Man Arrested in South Korea for Stabbing Acquaintance After Argument

Authorities in Boeun, South Korea, have apprehended a Vietnamese man in his 20s on charges of attempted murder following a violent incident involving a knife attack on an acquaintance.

The suspect, identified only as 'A', is accused of stabbing 'B', a Vietnamese national in his 40s, at A's residence late on July 27. The altercation reportedly occurred while both individuals were consuming alcohol. According to police investigations, the dispute stemmed from 'A's' frustration over 'B' frequently closing doors loudly in his home.

The victim, 'B', suffered injuries to his face during the assault. He is currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital, and his condition is reported to be stable, with no life-threatening injuries.

Following the stabbing, 'A' fled the scene. However, law enforcement officers, alerted by a report, managed to track down and arrest him approximately one hour after the incident. Police are continuing their investigation to ascertain the precise details and circumstances surrounding the crime.
