VinFast appoints Pham Nhat Quan Anh as Chairman of the Board

VinFast Auto Ltd. announced the appointment of Pham Nhat Quan Anh as its new Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective May 23. He succeeds Le Thi Thu Thuy, who will now focus on key objectives within Vingroup, the parent company and major shareholder of VinFast, where she holds the position of Vice Chairwoman.

This senior leadership transition is intended to align with VinFast's evolving development needs, particularly as the electric vehicle manufacturer intensifies its global expansion efforts. Anh, who previously served as Deputy Chairman and Permanent Deputy General Director of VinFast, is recognized for his extensive management experience across various sectors and his deep involvement in the company's growth, from establishing its foundation in Vietnam to its international outreach.

In his new role, Anh stated that VinFast has built a solid development foundation and will remain committed to its long-term strategic priorities. "We will foster innovation, enhance global operational capabilities, and improve customer experience. I look forward to working with the leadership team to guide VinFast into a new development phase," Anh said.

Anh holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Singapore Management University. Prior to joining VinFast in February 2019, he gained significant experience in operational management, system development, and strategic planning at Vinpearl from 2017 to 2019. Since joining VinFast, he has held several key leadership positions in vehicle development, production, sales, marketing, after-sales service, planning, coordination, and quality control.
