VinFast Flazz Max electric scooter launched: Priced near $600, 85km range per charge

Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has expanded its scooter lineup with the launch of the Flazz Max, a model specifically designed for students. Priced at 14.99 million Vietnamese dong (approximately $600 USD), the Flazz Max aims to provide an accessible and practical electric mobility option.

Flazz Max uses an electric motor with a power of 1.5kW, which is 0.4kW higher than the previous Flazz.

The new Flazz Max boasts a significant upgrade in performance, featuring a 1.5kW electric motor that allows it to reach a top speed of 48km/h, an improvement over its predecessor's 39km/h. Powering the scooter is a 1.5kWh LFP battery that is removable, enabling users to easily swap it at VinFast's extensive network of charging stations. This battery offers a maximum range of about 85km on a full charge, a considerable increase from previous models.

The maximum speed of the vehicle increases to 48km/h, while the old version only reached about 39km/h.

VinFast continues to offer its attractive policy of free charging and battery swapping across its nationwide network. Customers purchasing the Flazz Max can also benefit from an 8% manufacturer discount and an additional 5% off through the "Trade gasoline for electricity" program. These combined incentives can bring the effective price of the scooter down to just over 13 million dong.

The battery provides a maximum operating range of about 85km after each full charge, a significant improvement compared to the previous generation.

With the introduction of the Flazz Max, VinFast provides more options for individuals who do not yet possess a driver's license, complementing other models in its lineup such as the Amio, ZGoo, and Evo Lite. This move further solidifies VinFast's commitment to promoting electric mobility in Vietnam.
